2017 Ice Season
« on: Nov 08, 2016, 10:22 AM »
Hey all..   Just wanted to stop in and say hello to all my fellow hard water nutz.  I missed the majority of the last season and I am really excited to be around for the entirety of the 2017 season.  Has anyone fished the ugly stick GX2 28" rod?  I was thinking it may be a good walleye rod for jigging raps and blades.  Let me know what you think.

I use one for walleye baits.  It serves its purpose, and is a good rod reel for the money.

It would be great to get out in greenlick this year. I would love to try and figure out how to catch some of those walleye that are in there. I usually just fish for perch there but caught a lot of walleye this past spring on open water.

I have a good feeling about greenlick this season.  All of us will have to get together this year.
