Carson lake
« on: Dec 29, 2008, 01:08 PM »
Hello fellow Ice fishing people! I'm new to this board but definitely not new to the sport. Fished for the first time this year yesterday at Carson lake. I'm recovering from major shoulder reconstruction and have limited ability as my surgery was only 3 weeks ago, don't tell my Dr. or Physiotherapist they'd freak. Ice was 15 inches thick suitable for a vehicle but dangerous for people to park side by side all the way down the lake. There is also a pressure ridge running through the middle of the big side so be careful. Fishing was predictable with cookie cutters of two year classes ranging from 8 " - 13". Has anyone caught something over the 16" size in Carson lately? Good luck to all!
Hell, if I'd jumped on all the dames I'm supposed to have jumped on, I'd have had no time to go fishing.
