Finally got out ice fishing took the shack out, was an adventure, fishing was fair, we slept out on the lake for 2 nights.

Loaded up the shack on the car trailer, perfect fit

My buddy pulled it out with his Haaglund

Got the shack unloaded and pinned up, M.O.A was playing general

Surprisingly first fish was a whitefish on a large jig tipped with a minnow

Then a few walleye were had, they were spotty Saturday, best day was Sunday about 3 pm there was a frantic 3 hour bite

There aren't many shacks at the narrows this year, not like previous years, but there is a lot of snow. Buddy Grant came out with his dad for the day.

Twilight Saturday night

Good company and good friends, Russell and Bob were out with Russells Sno Bear. A few beverages and lots of BS'ing

Some pan fried fillets

Lesser Slave sunset

Powered out

Monday morning Russell came out with his Sno Bear to pull my shack off as the Haaglund threw a track, was a tough pull need to alter the skis on the shack.

Buried it in a drift for a couple hours that was fun

All in all a great trip though!

That thing is just crazy. Bet you don't dare leave it out on the ice unoccupied. Don't let it just sit during the off season, bet you could get at least a grand a month to rent it. That thing is better than 90 percent of apartments in N.Y.C.

I see a new business on your horizon, 'Homes for the Homeless' government contracts up the wazoo.

Package it as a short-term disaster relief shelter and swap skies for wheels and there might be something.

Wonderful work Prop.   Did you hand draw plans for that shack or use a CAD system?

I have drawings if the building its a model I use for generators but it's nothing fancy its an 8*12 with a 4:12 pitch roof. The interior setup is just based off a shack I did last year with a wood stove, this one has propane and a countertop and cabinets
