Looks great!  I know you're not done, but make sure you cut boards full length to fill the outside corners(45's). definitely need it for strength. this is an amazing project you have going here. can't wait to see it finished!

Depending on your exterior sheathing...make sure you leave enough room on the exterior wheel well to change the tire should be necessary...Have seen a lot that cover the wheel well right at frame level and its a bear to get access.....make sure you keep it a few inches above top lug nut.

Shouldn't be a problem.  I still have 5 inches of clearance in the wheel housing.

update...

The roof has plywood on it.  I have to find the rubber roof material next.

Wow, that is looking nice. How much is it going to weigh? What are you going to do with the inside? Wood heat, or gas?

I'm still guessing at the weight.  The inside is getting wood.  I haven't decided between knotty pine or cedar.  I was in a plywood plant in Louisiana that made a 4x8 sheet of tongue and groove.  It also made profile cuts in the plywood to make it look like it was a bunch of 5 1/4 inch pieces put together.  I might cheat and try and find some these for the paneling.

The heating will be done with a forced air propane heater.

Just a little more progress from last weekend.

Got the bay window finished

Door and windows framed in

Painted the fenders with rhino liner and got them mounted

And we got the aluminum flashing on the roof and edges of the roof

Love the shack.  What did you use for roofing? Is that sheet metal? and what is the siding?

thanks

The roof isn't done yet.  What you see is just some galvanized flashing that I used to get straight corners for the roof.  I'll be putting a rubber roof on it in the next couple of weeks.

The siding is just .030 painted aluminum.

Thanks for the info.  Please keep the pictures coming. I'd like to see more on the install of the rubber roofing. Am thinking about a perm. myself and looking for ideas.

We'll start wiring this weekend.  I'm hoping to spray foam the following weekend.

It's funny how fast winter is sneaking up on us.  We started this build around the end of july.  I had no idea I'd still be working on it now.  I still have to finish building 3 augers when this is done.  lol

The house is now spray foamed and we got the roof on this weekend.  Looks like we have a chance of being done before there's enough ice to bring it out on...

Started the paneling on the inside.

and the electric screw jack are fully functional. Here's a really boring video of the housing being lowered....

Love it, excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. I think this was the inspiration the old man and I needed to build our next fish house.

Cheers
