tomorrow night finish the plywood on the outside. Then start working on the interior. Gonna build a booth/bed setup like in a popup. Gives a place to eat put the bottles play cards. Also the storage under the seats for my gear. Then can flip it down to make a big bench/bed for those loooong nights.

Thanks everyone. I'm thinking about calling it "FREE RIDE". Since I have maybe 20 bucks invested in it so far. I've gotten everything for free for it. It's taken me some time but.......

Just got home from working on the shack. The outside is completely plywooded. The booth/bed is done. I found a guy that has old metal roofing behind is barn I gotta check out so I can give the shack a roof. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

Is that trailer a 1969 Nimrod popup!?! I had one for years that I converted into a work trailer before its demise. That`s too funny!

That is funny. I tried googling it on the net to get info about them but couldn't find really anything. It's a 1970 Nimrod by the manufacturer's plate. Still going strong.

Yeah. Still got to build the door. It's going to be build so I can keep the camper's "door"/step. After the door I got to get the windows in. Finish caulking and paint it to seal it. My buddy is going to cut and reweld the woodstove. Picked it up for 25 bucks. It's 3 feet long. Way too big for the shack. He's going to cut it down to 18".

Nice looking shack you got there. Is there a reason why you didn't use the plastic roof? It would have been so much lighter.

Good looking shack.

Do you plan to insulate it?

You may also want to put some metal on the walls on the back side of your wood stove.

This will help reflect the heat into the shack, and it will keep the wall from starting on fire.

Just a thought,

Wiener
