Pymy Docks
« on: Jan 30, 2020, 07:00 AM »
I dont want to think of the depressing hardwater situation.

Hopefully, since I had to use my auger last weekend on Pymy this post is relatively on-topic.  Has anyone been fishing either Jamestown or Linesville marinas this week?  Are the docks still iced in?  I fished Jamestown last Saturday and it was not great.  I'm just wondering if anyone has done any good during this week.  I may make another trip this weekend.  I know this is not a hardwater question (please forgive me) but, I would also be interested in any success at the Pymy outflow.  I may also take my jigging rod to see if I could find some walters  in there.  Please feel free to PM me...  I'd love to hear anyone's good or bad luck.  I know Linesville is shallower than Jamestown, but I heard a few weeks ago guys there were doing very well on papermouths.  But like all things, these things change at the drop of a hat, so I'm hoping to get some more recent info.  Thank you!

I was there (Jamestown) yesterday the last couple hours before dark. Nine other fishermen there when i arrived.  Thin, soft ice around docks. Easy to break through. I didn't catch any but a few others did. Looked like small Crappie to me. That's all I got.

Was there Monday and only had one hit in 3 hours.  Didn’t  see anyone catch any.
