A start on this years decoys!

Here are a few pics from this years decoys. I have a frog I just started working on and will post it when I get some pics. Theses pics are about a month or two old, but I'll update them later. Just thought I'd share.

after paint not a working decoy but I traded it for a bandsaw.


The start of a gill I'm working on, these are old the gill has a ton more detail and all copper fins that I polished and patterned with a hammer on the anvil and then polished and engraved detail. I will post some pics before I seal, wt. and paint, then some of the after pics.



In this group shot there is a little decoy that will be like the trout.

Very nice, if he keeps at it he will be putting us all to shame in no time.keep at the great carving, it is nice to see what the next generation can do.

Another decoy finished, but the pics are not the best I'm some more with a better cam later. This one is for a 6 year old that just got his great grandpas spears and his Dad wants to teach him to use them, the fins are engraved with his name.
