Waubay,  We had some last night.  It was great!!!  I still like it steamed with seasoning, lemon, and a little beer.  Served with hot butter it's the closest thing to lobster without the empty wallet!

Wow - that sounds delicious!  I've heard that before that Burbot is supposed to be the poor mans lobster, gosh that sounds good!  I thought walleye and perch were about the best but that is starting to sound better yet!  If you figure out a way to cook em and mail em to me still hot I'd be more than willing to shell out a few bucks, LOL  ;D - j/k.  Awesome fish again too!!!

HAHAHAHA! Waubay!  I'd send ya some, but it would be frozen walkin' out the door from here.

Pirat, ugly but delicious!  Hard to skin the first one, but after that, it's all over....  They are good eat's and well worth the hassle.

I posted a pic of some pics I saw of fish that were caught in the deep sea, and was reading up on some of 'em.  The site I was reading said that since these fish need to make the most of the food they encounter, they can swallow fish up to 3x their own size!

Always wear clean underwear, cuz ya never know when the paramedics are gonna have to cut your pants off.

Techumseh,  It was caught on a tributary off the Tanana river in Interior Alaska. ;)

ROBB,

we catch them all the time near horse island.  (sackets harbor)
The next time you go in the outdoors remember to clean up your trash!
