Saturday afternoon I took my daughter out for her first ice fishing trip. She gave it an honest 10 minutes then it was time to play but she did end up catching her first fish! I set the hook but let her reel it up.

She is trying.

The reward.

Time to head home.

This is my little girl Brooklyn, she was about 22 months in this pic...taken last year...she really enjoyed...but now she just watch's cartoons on her dvd player LOL...she'll have to get into it if her dad has anything to say! (Notice the cheesies on the floor, I think she was feeding the fish)

Size of the fish makes no difference when kids are fishing, that are all big in there eyes..

don't have any kids myself, but my own childhood wasn't that long ago

here's my pb rainbow, caught it when i was 10

here's one from when i was 13, also caught my pb perch that day

i believe i was 11 or 12 in this pic, they caught me before i could escape to the bluegill beds

and last but not least, 17 years and headed for the water
