South Bay
« on: Jan 23, 2011, 09:35 AM »
Gonna go fish South Bay for the first time ever this weekend.  I don't want to steal anyone's favorite spots, but any suggestion of where to fish?  Going by foot.

Don't worry about that, you won't have enough room to turn around with the pressure SB has seen

while i do agree that people saying how good the fishing is can bring more fisherman. myself included have posted some good outings, or said try here or there. i have to disagree on people blaming this site or any other site for that matter and peope talking. i grew up on south bay and in my 30 years can never remember that place ever being slow with traffic.

I beg to differ... we had 14  out today, and while slow we still managed to catch fish... the guys next to us planned on jigging all day- they ended up chasing flags more than jigging... not a dead sea... just slow...

The only time I ever fished South Bay was when Tyke had a kids contest, I didn't catch a thing but I had a great time and I still remember winning that dollar for participation. He always had some good stories it's a shame to see the place is for sale now.
