There might be a new world record Laker out of Blue Mesa last week just after ice off. A toad of a fish...73.29lbs unofficially. Will take time to be verified. Wonder if its feeding off those perch? I've been told they won't eat em because of the spikes on the dorsal fin.

that fish is a mutant. absolutely amazing. i read lots of comments that it might have been hammering on the kokanee to get that fat.

I guided a client on Great bear to a fish like that.
It was 7 or 8 pounds lighter though.
The client holding it is like 6'6"-6'7" 300#'s.
