I like 6 or 8# Berkely XL and 8# Power Pro...both with Vanish leaders in the same #.

No leader, I just bought some 2lb and 4lb p-line for panfish. I've never used this brand. I can't wait to try it out.

I have been using P-line for 10yrs. I think you will be happy with it. I have no complaints.

Do you use the ice or the regular? I'm thinking all the line is the same. They just put it in an ice package.

Right now I have both on because I ran out of the ice and could only find the regular. I don't notice a difference between them.I think the ice is suppose to better for the cold. Not really sure if it is though.

I use 50lb fireline, (which has a 12lb mono diameter) because it doesn't let the minnow tie knots in the line. Works GREAT for me!

No...I don't use ne type of leader....the 4lb fireline is strong enough to pull ne fish out of tha lake jus set the drag...I have no problems with frayed line or ne thing....I like the light line for sensitivity....no leaders needed.......
