Red lion rec. area at jumbo res. annex 1/1/2010

I fished red lion recreation area near juhlsburg colorado on friday and saturday. I was hoping to catch a mess of crappie like my buddy did in weeks past. I only caught one small crappie and a perch. The smallmouths were on the bite though. We caught several smallmouth from 1 to 3 pounds and boy did they fight! I think we are the only ones to fish there this winter.

My buddy went out there on sunday and caught 3 nice cats too. Good variety at the Jumbo annex!
