Here's my project from a year or two ago. A one man flipover shanty designed to work with a standard JetSled. The Frahillbilly. This project is currently gathering dust in my basement. Free to anyone who wants to come and get it. http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=85267.0
I thought you were fishing out front of the narrow side of sled in that case a letter holder would have worked. Picture a 3x5 or 4x6 index card one cut 10 to 20 degrees from length and the other cut about 45 degrees from the other bottom side with 1-2 incnch bottom width these multiple letter holders have about 5 levels just cut one out. Good luck with your build Cory
I guess I am a little late to the party. But I have built several flip over shanties. I have used 3/4" pvc. It works very well and is less costly than emt.I have sewn all my own covers. Not really that hard.On one of my builds I even made my own tub out of aluminum. My first build 50 years ago, I used copper pipe for the frame.Got any cool pictures to share?
