Anyone know where to get a quality spear?

Looking for durable/strong spear. I bought 2 cheap store ones had to add some weight, looking for a good one. Here is what I got.

Yeah the barb are way to small on your spears your not going to have any holding power.
I forge spears in the old blacksmith style and member Blackhawk make machined stainless spears ether would be a better choice depending on your budget.

Blackhawks spears. I have the 9 tine. It's a very sturdy spear that flys very true. You can't go wrong with a EVOLUTION SPEAR from Blackhawk.

It had to be quick. You said in here somewhere that the spears require a good coating of fish scales, slime and to make sure to wash off the dust. Lol. Thanks again for everything you did getting this spear to me. It's more than I could have ever imagined. I will for sure hand this spear down for generations to come. Thank you!!

That is definitely a nice looking spear.

I have a hand forged blacksmith style spear made by Roger Cook from northern MN. He only builds a handful every year. It weighs nearly 9 lbs. which took some getting used to but I love it.
