Winchester...again. 🤷‍♂️

Made the drive to Winchester again today since I was sure there is safe ice...(fished it Sunday, still 6”). It’s still only half fishable but it now looks skimmed all the way to the stumps.
Slooooooow day out there with only one perch on a trap and about a dozen small perch and gills between my brother and me.
Fished next to Mongo544...nice to meet you!!! Hope you did better after we left!
Still great to be out on the ice!!

One perch one rock bass. Forgot to pack my spikes so I could only use shiners ha.

Glad you guys got out.  Not looking good at all for CT ice cone Saturday. QPF is looking like at least an inch of rain between the two days.

Being a CT ice fisherman is down right depressing. I miss cold winters.  :(
