Holy Freezing Rain
« on: Jan 01, 2007, 05:21 AM »
Woke up at 5:30 to find my vehicles covered in ICE.  If my new years fishing hole had enough ice to fish on I wouldn't be able to safely drive there  ::) Oh well, at least Imade it another year and am not too hungover :angel  Be safe out there guys and bring your slicker!
when hell freezes over, I'll be icefishing there too!

I am too. It is not by choice. I went on an ice hunt here yesterday and the only ice I found was in my soda. Looks like I will be headed north Saturday morning. I hate 2.5 hour rides just to find ice!

Freezing Rain/Fog/sleet...24 degrees in Millinocket
Whenever someone caught a fish...my Uncle David always shouted..."THROW IT BACK TO IT"S MOTHER!!"  I can hear that echoing across the frozen lake now!

that was the weirdest weather on the way to jackman   18 degrees and raining   not sleet rain  was probably the worst driving conditions i have ever been in.  good thing i had scott wright with me as a cheerleader.  except he stopped singing whenever we passed a sand truck.

How many times do you start the season with rain gear? We were chipping holes on Bigwood just before daylight in a driving rain. Brought rain gear but the rain would not stick to you, a godsent for sure and nothing that burning a couple faces cords won't cure! Al
