I was just wondering if anyone had been plowing down to the boat launch there.

Some yahoo plowed a path off the driveway.  It is a mess.  You need to park on the road and walk down.  Fished there today several flags- caught crappie and a ton of yellow perch(aka. Tiger Trout).  Awesome day to be out with the family.

Last day for me.  Must have been 200 people out there.  Holy scnikeys!  Still 22 inches of ice.  Vehicles where out there, four wheelers , sleds, you name it.  Biggest crappies I have caught all season were the last two days.  My boys had a great day.  How many days till next season?

Weefish, how many feet of water were you in and what depth were they hitting at?  Were you way down on the left?  Were you using shiners, if so how big?

Sorry for the third degree, just wondering how your experiences there compare to my past ones.  Glad you did well, I went after salmon and got skunked.

Poorboy, this how I do it.  I go looking for fun and the fish find me!  Nothing special, a little off bottom, shiners both big and small have worked, but I have put in alot of time this year.  Every weekend I would take the kids out.  Next year you should join us.  Boy do Crappie taste good!
