My fishing buddies and I were talking the other day about how badly we all want to get out on the ice.
It is getting colder here every day!
It just so happened that we heard there was some good ice not far from where we live....
So we packed up the gear and hit the road.
It was a good time, good friends............... .... I don't think we will go back to that spot, though,

We didn't catch a darn thing!!!

, lol, how thick was that ice?.
You have to be careful drilling there you may hit bottom. I don't think you may want to eat any fish you might catch, more of a catch and release fishing spot.

That be Minnow there on the left Terry, and Gobbler in the middle and I'm not sure who that is in camo on the right . I am involved in a couple of shoots this winter on icefishing and I'm sure the gals will get some coverage if the outdoors production company I'm with can make it to our meet and greet .

as for bait, we found these little gummy minnows at the snack booth, figured we would stick to bait native to that habitat.
