i need a killer trout resapie for rainbows ???

same way you do your panfish...fillet...cru mb...fry....I prefer it over baking or using whole fish...though they are tasty too :)

Grind the trout add mashed Taters and a little onion make a patty bread it and fry it in a pan little oil. Awsome tasteing. Or just smoke it Thats the way I do most of my Steelies or Bows.

If you like a whole trout...I like to buy lemons, limes and Blood Oranges, just slice them thin and stuff them in the fish cavity along with sliced onion and either some dill or rosemarry depending on your tastes...add salt and pepper of course then just wrap em in foil and bake away for 20-40 minutes depending on the size of the fish

do you grind it fresh or cook it then grind?...im thawing some trout...going to give the patties a whirl ;D

I smoke-cure all my larger and red-fleshed rainbows (lakers too sometimes). Great chip dip is some flaked, smoked rainbow meat, added to some sour cream with a little onion powder sprinkled in! Fabulous! -Jim
