The deer's on the rope And now Im going fishing!

   Hey guys the deers on the rope I was going to wait till monday to go chase some gills but Im going today to some smaller inland puddles here in Bayfield co. Im pumped Ill keep you posted. Anyone else heading out around the state?

    7 gills and a wet boot all I got this afternoon but it felt good to have a line in the hole!

Can I ask what lake you got out on? I tried getting out on a small lake near Iron River, Angus Lake, and there was only about 1-1/2" on sunday at about noon. That wasnt quite enough for me but I was wonder where abouts you were and how much ice you had.

   I was on crystal lake west of Iron River little lake like angus but not as deep. It was just a little trip to get the edge off. Had a solid 2 to 3" on the lake. Did you hit the Iron river flowage seen someone out there too?

No I hunted all weekend but I hope to get out this coming weekend somewhere.
