Just got off the lake!  Got some nice gills. Now I can deer hunt!    I will post some pics monday.

I had 2" of really nice ice. Almost 3" in some spots. Spudded my way around the lake with no issues.

   Im heading to the inland puddles monday after gills my self. Keep the wind and temps down!! How deep were you fishing?

The lake is a real shallow one. I was in 4 to 5 ft of water and grabbing them at about 3' below.   The water is fairly stained so we didn't spook them so bad.

Down in the southern part of the state we have ice on smaller lakes, I wouldn't say it's safe to walk on, but soon enough.  I love this time of year!
