Title: 2 Years
Post by: Fatfish on Jan 07, 2013, 06:30 AM
Yes it has been 2 years since I have been icefishing. 2 years ago,a back operation, last year triple buypass. Got to go Friday and Saturday on Lake Onalaska. First bite(broke off) 2nd was 12in. Perch. Caught a lot of perch and some real nice bass. With the help of my son Mike. I am disabled, and you do not know how much I enjoyed this trip. Been a long time waiting to get back on the ice. This was a great time, looking forward to going, every weekend for the next 2 months.  Thanks to a son that I use to take when he was 3 and now 27,he takes me.  Jerry

Good to hear you're well and back on the ice...

My dad talked about this last year how I now drill all the holes for him and set up camp like he use to do for me when I was young. If you son is like me I bet he enjoys every bit of setting things up for his dad. I need to get my dad out again this year, but he's been having some health issues. Good luck next time you walk on water!  :)
