How's the access to the lake? Able to drive on anywhere?

I haven't been there in over a week, but when I was there last folks were driving on the lake in most areas

Heading down from the Saskatoon area for a weekend of fishing with the aunt and uncle. How has the action been?

It has been reasonable. Some days land 30 walleye, next day landing 4.
Walleye size quality has been good.

Thanks, the aunt and uncle say they have been fishing between 35-42 feet, seems deep to me, what are your thoughts?

That is deep. I was trying to stay at 30 feet or less. I did fish a bit in 35 feet today and most of the perch had barometra from that deph. Ended up keeping them. Walleye were smaller today.

We did okay, just off the reef. 3 keeper walleye, maybe 6 small walleye 8”.  And 2 tank perch.  All in all a great day.  Things seem to shut off at 3:30 today.

Sounds like a good day. Did you catch any rock bass?

Is anyone having any luck catching pike consistently? I find the odd one, but not limiting out on pike.

I haven't been able to find them this winter. Usually early to late Feb you can find the Tullibee near a drop-off and the pike are usually nearby. Haven't been able to find the large schools of Tullibee

At least the walleye fishing has been good. Landing quite a few, and a few nice ones too.
