Title: Porter cable 20 volt for auger

Looking at this drill at tractor supply for grandson..he has a 5 and 7 inch auger..
Do you think this will be a decent set up for him?

My buddy used one with 5ah batteries for 2 years with an 8" lazer

thanks for the reply..everyone  else says it wouldn't work for anything over 5 inch's?  Who knows

for sure..I think a lot depends on how hard you push down..

It depends on the Inch pounds or UWO. If it only has 330 UWO it isn't going to be worth the money for an Auger.

just wanted to say this drill runs the 7 inch eskimo  with ease. 12inch of ice
goes thru like butter..of course he only drilled maybe 25 to 27 holes..we seldom
have to drill very many holes as we fish this lake a lot..if you know where the
weed line is its easy sometimes to get on the fish..
