Tomorrow I will be going to eel bay for the first time ever.  Where is the best place to park and get access?

Parking is at the boat launch in the state park.  Go thru the park entrance and the first left is where the boat launch is.

Be prepared to get blasted by wind there tomorrow, winds are supposed to be 7-14 from the East, shifting to the west, and over there (I can tell you from experience) it'll be blowing twice as hard.

fished eel bay today and boy did we have flags flying left and right  ... kidding... had the camera down the hole and boy was that water moving.... oh yea did not even see anything on the camera  . Was the same channel over and over and it wasn't even in color! There were different characters that were on the tv but it was still the same show and the same ol crap flowing by. Did see some pike iced tho around me but my cousin and I were't so lucky and even one of my flags on my tip-up snapped. But we did have some fun out there... or at least I did. Decided to stand up on a sleigh-riding sled and hold an xl jet sled up behind me and with the wind boy was I cruising.... here is the video...

Fished eel bay to day they are still driving trucks on there.We were fishing on 12 today. Perch bite slow , pike was ok .

4 of us fished Friday with pretty good luck w/pike and perch.  Biggest pike - 29" and biggest perch - 13".  Drove truck out no prob.
Saturday, we fished all day in the 40+ mph winds and caught a few more.  1st time I've seen water picked up off the ice and turn to sleet.
Open water along shore line.   Was able to get out with 4wheeler.
Next weekend, you may need waders to get to the ice.
