Lithium Sonar Batteries. Opinions?
« on: Dec 26, 2022, 05:36 PM »
Just purchased my first lithium battery for my flx-28, An Amped Outdoors battery. I was really impressed with the Ice Hole Power review on YouTube so went to my local tackle shop to pick one up. I definitely like the difference in weight of my pro pack but I honestly thought it would be a little lighter. Might be time for a shuttle upgrade lol. Does anyone have opinions on any brand of these batteries? Good and bad experience? Tight lines!

I bought the Amped Outdoors for my FLX-28 a couple years ago...Definitely like the weight difference & can use it a few trips before recharging...I also put one in my Marcum Showdown just because it's old & needed a new battery...Great purchase & very pleased with the performance...Good luck to ya !!

I own marcum brute 12v 10amp in my helix 5 I get 3 full days without question I’m sure I could get the fourth
I bought them pre pandemic sale
Far as marcum service I had an issue with the shuttle on my 7 it was corrected without a hassle

Great customer service ..I have two . I also thought it wasn't a drastic weight difference ..until I got out on the ice and I  hole hopped with my FL18 Ultra pack ..there is a difference for sure . On a side note on my DD100 it will not read correctly..the gauge will read 100% for quite a looong time ...then 90% for a while and then 80% ..then the unit may shut off ..not certain ig the FLX28 would react the same .

Not certain ..but I would imagine the chart can point you in the right direction for an estimate.
