Fantasy eh!
Place;
Remote fly in lake...northern Quebec
Species;
Walleye, northern, lakers, perch
Accomodations;
8 person quanset hut , generator, satelite dish, 42" plasma tv, Lazy Boys all Around,trap doors at each and next to the bar (for fishing), full kitchen and bath with the appropriate wait staff and oh yeah, the snow cat to move it all around with.
I could go on but I'm feeling faint.

Anywhere all expenses paid for 2 weeks ice fishing away from work and worry!
But, anywhere with a good slab panfish population and good walleyes too... Big roomy bungalow type shanty beds, heat, kitchen, the works...and a fish trap ready to move to find fish away from the "base". Also, must have snowmobiles at the ready, GPS, and power to recharge my flasher...
...and beer!

I have always wanted to fish Minnesota's Lake of the Woods. Get a sleeper fish house and stay out on the ice for the whole trip. No cell phone, a grill, some porterhouse steaks and...oh yes, BEER!

That's a tough one. Maybe Saginaw Bay for the walleyes. They get numbers of fish and some big fish. Wherever I go I want walleyes, have a nice lodge to stay at, "nice" company, cold beer,warm meals and great fishing.
Hopefully, I'll be going up there to fish with a couple of walleye pros at the end of the season.

Mine was 8 straight days on the ice at LOW, but after 4 days exhaustion set in...... the drive time ( 2 hours each way plus an hour on ice) was the killer. Will try it again when my sleeper is finished.
Now..... a 2 week road trip to check out some of the "out east" ice action. Not as a comparision, just to try something different.

Since it includes gear of choice, I would have to wish for an all expense paid trip fly fishing for trout in New Zealand. Sorry no frozen dreams here.

yes nunzio-HARDWATER
recall hardwater only guys
canada has better freshwater fishing for big fish than any road accessable place in alaska on the highway system, although western alaska has some great icefishing, sheefish especially, up to 60 pounds. Come to think about it, forget the north west territory, Selawik Lake for sheefish in western Alaska. and since its fantacy, a couple of nice heated shacks, with bunks for me and my buddies
Some beefy rods as well, and whatever works for sheefish, I've yet to catch one.
