I was just wondering how everyone did for X-Mas?

I got about 50 jigs from the kids, and 2 ice fishing books, and a Showdown Digital Fish Finder from the wife.

As far as fishing goes, I got about 10 pairs of thermo socks and some new sweat shirts/pants to wear as base layers. I got 80 or so dollars worth of BPS gift certificates from various family members and cash from realitives which is great because I wanted to buy a new sled but didn't want to shell out the money. From the girlfriend I got a waterproof camo Field & Stream jacket, some thermo shirts and a tight fitting fleece to wear under my suit or new jacket.

I also gave my disabled sister her first fishing pole (she started asking to go last year) and my dad a pretty sweet Mitchell 5' UL trout combo... scored it for $10.

I got a clam basecamp. Took it out yesterday and tried it out. Might not be the best out there but beats the 5 gallon pail I used before!

$ 400 bucks worth of gift cards for G.M. ,pair of Gore-Tex boots from Cabala's,3 pairs of thermo ,socks,they know I have more stuff than I know what to do with,so I'm kind or hard too buy for,what do you get a 56 year old guy,that's been hunting and fishing forever,all and all we had a great and blessed Xmas. Just need some cold weather and life will be good.

You will like the Showdown. I don't care what anybody says about the Vex, I still like my Showdown. My dad got one last year after using mine.

I got a paycut and loss of vacation time from my f-ing scrooge ass boss

! 20 years of employment no warning... Times are tough at my house now..Christmas hasn't been real enjoyable! But I'll keep my chin up and pray for better days and take it day by day! I did get a Arctic Armor suit! But just haven't had a chance to use it yet. $:-\$

Well I sold my snowmobile two weeks ago which I still don't know if that was a good idea. But I was able to buy myself a vex fl18 and some chains for the wheeler for christmas. My wife got me a nice pair of ski pants and I got some money for ice fishing stuff. All and all it was great christmas. I have a 7 week old boy and a 2 year old daughter. This was the first christmas my daughter really knew what was going on which was a lot of fun.

got a frabil frontire pop up shelter. used it yesterday on south pond for lakers. got a bunch of cookie cutters. i like the black out shades they are going to come in handy when smelting.

Some new thermal underwear, merino wool socks, Ice Armour X gloves, some dvd's, and my brother(Whatpole) renewed my IS militia subscription. Then I got laid off the day after Christmas.
