Never Ice Fished it and was thinking about giving it a try, any ice info, places to get on the lake, fish info etc. would be appreciated.

Over the years, people giving out ice info on Branched Oak have indicated that it has a number of springs where the ice will change drastically in thickness, and have mentioned people falling through as they "find" those springs.  So I would encourage you to seek out some local knowledge and/or really use that spud bar on your way out to a spot.

Go to the dam and have fun with the crappies.

Anyone been using ATvs as of late?   Have been considering come down that way this weekend and would prefer to use it with the snow now on the ice.   Thanks in advance

Don't need one.  Wallk to the dam.  If you have an ATV and want to use it, then head west.

Anyone know where the usual bad spots are?  Snow cover will make it difficult to see now for sure.
