Excellent ties man, thanks for the idea!  I like the profile mallard flank gives...very bait-fish like.  Plus this would give me something else to do with the piles of feathers plucked from this season's waterfowl.

Yes these Jigs work...These Crappie were caught this past November by my cousin and his buddy on the river.

The profile of the jig resembles small shad. Which is a primary food source in a lot of our lakes. Duck flank feathers both mallard and wood duck. Have always been a top producer for me.
