Holter lake

I was thinking of heading to holter this weekend and was wondering how the ice and fishing is? Any one been up there recently.

heard there was 5 or 6 inches of good ice on tuesday, not sure how the ice is holding up now with this warm weather lately. that was around log gultch

Friend of a friend was up there yesterday.  Said there was an inch of water on top of 3 or so inches of ice.  The wind was whippin' and the temps were in the 40's.  don't know what the temperature was up there today but that's enough for me to go somewhere else and see what everyone else finds...

I would go somewhere else- I heard the ice is rotten around the edges again and has water on top now. That lake can get dangerous real quick in this warm weather.
