heck if theres any kid wants to take a wack at ice fishing in south centeral MN goto circle lake near new Prague go out in the middle where theres the shantie town and theres a 75% chance to limit out on crappies and if they can get out there i can set em up... im only 15 and iv gotten probably a dozen guys hooked on icefishing from that  lake. let me know

I just spoke with the person that is making the kids contest. he has been very busy but asked to to let you all know he should be on tonight and will have it up by the beginning of January.

Hey guys, so sorry for the delay. Work and family has kept me busy, I will be putting together this contest tonight or tomorrow night. There will be some minor changes to make the logistics easier, I may do a prize package for biggest fish in 3 categories, maybe perch, crappie and pike. Hey guys, i just got notification from Ice Shanty administration that there are already a lot of kid orientated ice fishing contests this year and my contest has been put on hold until next year. They are hoping to keep the kid contests by state so check your states section. Sorry i was so late to the game this year.
