Does anyone remember the spring loaded flail attachment on a Jiffy auger that was designed for rounding the bottom of an ice hole? Buddy had such a thing on a 10" auger that worked about 1/2 the time, or more likely take off a leg if engaged above the ice. Other than that it was a good idea. Couldn't find anything on a quick search. Hoping someone on here might have a photo or diagram of the beast. Thanks.

I believe they were called the "Ice Angler" I had one and I took it off.
I think I still have another brand new in the box in my storage shed somewhere.
I think it's missing one attachment screw though.
Bought them after they stopped making them and they sold the last of their stock on eBay years ago.
Iirc it worked OK it just didn't fit my style and was extra work I didn't need 95% of the time.
Guess I should dig it out and eBay it sometime.
If your interested send me a PM and we can discuss it.

In a society where having survival instincts means stocking up on toilet paper,, it should probably be left in the shed.

Why store something I will for all practical purposes never use?
Yet it might be just the ticket for a fellow Ice fisherman who could make use of it!
There's been a few mentions of this product on these forums over the years.
I believe it's a concept that works but needs to find the right person who's style it does fit and can make better use of it than I did.
I ended up buying a 10" auger and use it instead of this tool.
Btw I have got plenty of TP and other supplies.
I'm not worried in the least about not having food or other essentials.
Including ammo and reloading supplies.
I fairly well prepared! As we all should be!
