Title: Goose Lake South of O'Neill Report
Post by: BullerMan3269 on Jan 14, 2018, 09:27 PM
Just curious if anybody has a fishing report on Goos lake south of Oneill.  Curious if you can still catch northern out of there or if the fishing is pretty much shot in that lake.  Any report would be great.  Thanks.

There are still some pike there, some largemouth bass and panfish too.  But, there are also a lot of common carp right now, enough that water quality might not be the best and the fishing might not be either.

Any talk of a rehab for Goose yet?

Fished it a couple times, caught a lot of really small perch and some small bluegill. Did have one flag go off, but didn't get it. Water is pretty cloudy.

If we got a dry year and the water level dropped. . . . .
