Hello!

Hi everyone,

I had a couple of newbie questions I was hoping you guys could help me out with! My wife and I are planning to try out luck fishing around the watertown area. We aren't super comfortable driving on the ice because we don't know whats safe and whats not, and don't want to go through. So we were wondering if the big lakes would even be fishable if we were to walk out on them? Otherwise, should we just stick to smaller lakes or the sloughs instead? And how do we know if we have to pay a fee or not to access the water/park? Is it clearly marked by signs/pay stations or what? Also, if anyone has any tips or tricks for us, that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for any help in advance,
Cliff
