Transporting my tip ups and rods.
« on: Jan 15, 2013, 11:57 AM »
After going out fishing for a few times this season I realized I need a new way of transporting my tip ups. I have been using just a 5 gallon bucket with my tip ups in it but the bucket does not hold them well during transport in my jet sled and i have been just placing my rods in the sled. I know you can buy baskets for the tip ups but I was thinking of making something from a crate or something that fits nice and neatly in the sled. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Here's what I came up with a few years ago:

Tip Up Storage/Transporter & Hole Covers:

Thats a great idea. I could even put what you have like that but inside a crate than put pvc on the outside of the crate to hold my jigging rods.
