Looking for Lake Winnebago guide recommendions
« on: Oct 02, 2019, 08:08 PM »
Been going to Sturgeon Bay with the wife ice fishing the past 5 years.
Guides have basically been getting worse every year.
Get you in a shack and bye-bye.
Thought we'd try Lake Winnebago this year.
(Can't get stranded 3 miles out like last year on Sturgeon Bay.)
Any guides anyone would recommend?
Thanks for you're help.
Appreciate it.

Larry smith has got to be tops in the area.  He is also the only one I have used.  Nice guy and he cooks you lunch.  When we went he was running multiple groups and didn’t stay and fish with you but did check in often.

Nolan from Topguncharters is a younger guy that smokes like crazy but he produces fish as well.

Troy Peterson (Mr. Bluegill) is the only one I’ve heard of, but I’ve never hired him.
