the gander that is going out of business in portage mi has 50% off now. i went thru it and bought what i wanted and they did have ice fishing gear out. every thing that goes on pegs is on a zip strips to keep that item together.
bought some 13 fishing rods and combos cheap.

Glad you came out good.  Just got back and either this has been going on for a while and I didn't get the memo or they shipped a lot of the more in demand items to stores that are staying open.  Virtually all the fishfinders were gone.  No rods except Diawa and Sankana.  They did have a Panoptix I think but they may have that on clearance so its 15% not 40.  And pretty much no ice gear except for a shack and a few accesories.

Same situation at the location in Janesville. Went there last week to stock up on jigs for fall fishing, also got some ice fishing jigs. Went back yesterday and there isnt much left

The Eden Prairie location is closing also, not a store they can have RV's at.  If its anything like gander mountain liquidating it will go on for the next 6 months

the coldwater mi store is sending merchandise to the portage store to get rid of stock. so the stores staying open near you should be doing the same thing by sending to the closing store. could be worth revisiting.

In that area I'd rather fish Scheels anyway. Island Bait, etc.
