HEATED VEST?

Does anyone have any experience with a heated vest? The only place that I can find one is in motorcycle shops and of course they tell you anything just to make a sale, are they worth the price, how long will it hold a charge under use?

I saw them on display at the SHOT Show last year. I played with them a little and they did warm up pretty quick. i could feel the heat and it seemed like it would work as advertised, but I've never worn one on the ice or in the woods.

I got one from cabelas about 7 years ago. It works great. The battery pack is bulky though. Takes 8-D cell batteries.
