Stumper I was just wondering if your silo shanty has seen the ice yet. If so please post some photos if you have any.

I saw your posts in the "Coming Soon"  ( generalforum) thread sorry to hear you could not get the shanty out this season.

  We got dumped on with a bunch of snow , the extra weight caused water to seep up through cracks .  There was 4-6" of slush and water on top of the ice .   It just wasnt feasible to get it out on the lake .
