If you had to give a beginning fishermen ONE tip about icefishing (panfish). What would it be?
Mine would be to downsize, light line, light action pole, small jig.

Buy good stuff, (tip ups, warm cloths,boots,augers,)the first time,you will save in the end.and enjoy being out there.

Take a buddy...you never know when youll learn something new..or when youll teach someone something new...not much better than a pile of fish and a big smile of a newbie!!!
