I'm setting in Boone and the only day on the ice for me was early Dec on Morse. With luck we'll have good ice everywhere from here north by the 18th. Vacation

Today was my first day back on the ice.  I was fishing in about 4-5 foot of water so safety wasnt a concern 8).........Sunday most things will be ready. There should be 3-4 inches tommorow on everything

CrappieBuster, glad to hear you were able to get back on the ice, was that at Clear Lake you went fishing?  So is Farmers Beach ice good to go for say Sat or Sun this weekend?  Finally we get our Iowa winter back...

Farmers should be good to go Sunday or Monday at the latest.   Im gonna walk out there a ways tommorow morning and check her out.
