any hard water

does anyone have a report on how good the ice is around the Des Moines area,badger,big creek, ahquibi, hooper or farm ponds I haven't been out since before Christmas due to a bunch of overtime at work but I will be done with that soon and plan on spending a lot of time on hard water if I can find any.

Not good iaslabs. North of Hwy 20 is your best bet.

thanks toothfish looks like a road trip unless it starts to stay cold down here, I have a week before I can get out. I do work alot. I am praying for cold weather along with everyone else.

Seen on the news in Des Moines a lake and there was no ice on it at all.

Badger was nearly completely ice free Monday when I drove past it.  I haven't been out to Big Creek but I would imagine that it's pretty much open as well.  I did notice that all the ponds in my area had a sheet of ice all the way across this morning, but it had disappeared by the time I got home.
