Dito as to the above post.  It does stink fishing in the 30 ft of water however.  Mushy spring than when you do catch them, the fish have problems getting back down.  Also be on your toes with your regs as the DNR officer down there will right you up for haveing a booger hanging from your nose.

Have kicked butt on this lake during the spawn.

Brushy rules. North end, look for areas where people have fished before. Cigarette butts, banana peels, match sticks, look for stuff laying on the ice that looks like someone stayed there for a while. Fish minnows.

Tight lines,
Fish

Hi all. I was going out to brushy tonight but with rain coming I'll have to pass. Might just have to wait till Christmas.

Fished the north end wed night 3 gills and 1 crappie - Thur morning I went to the west ramp I saw 2 eyes get caught, both about 18" +/- in about 35 foot of water and I ended up with 2 bass - one about 12" and one around 3 1/2 lbs. I was in about 25 to 30 foot  --  also hit cornila on wed morning, only got 1 small perch

Was on the ice Sunday at Taylor Island. Ice was still good at that time. Watch out for the spring east from ramp. Gills bitting and 1 perch. Bite is slowing some.May be back this weekend..Good luck!
