is the ice safe on lost lake and big creek

Been on there every day but Saturday since friday....7" all over the main lake...fished all over it in the past week and did good on gills, eyes, and even cats....some small perch and crappie mixed in here and there as well.

We fished Lost last night. Within the first 5 minutes had a 12 inch speck iced. We thought we were gonna hammer them after that. Spent 3 hours on the ice and that was the only fish worth mentioning. Kind of depressing, we could mark fish all the way up 5 feet, but couldnt get the suckers to bite ANYTHING! lost lake lake is either hate it or love it. Right now I hate it

How much damage has the heat wave done on the ice at Big Creek and Lost??

Ice is just fine for now even though it looks ugly.  Done well on everything from eyes to cats to gills...caught bass, crappie, perch, etc.  Today ended with over 60 gills, a bass and an eye, but very slow overall really.  Got some really nice cats and eyes earlier in the week.  Larger gills have been harder to come by, but get some now and then when you can get it past the little zingers.  Caught fish on the north end, east shore, south west shoreline, nw arm, etc.....fished about everywhere but north of the Marina and the southeast shore and done well in most places I have fished really.  All fish released.
