Auger extension clam vs strikemaster ?

Will a clam gas auger extension fit a strikemaster gas auger. From looking at the pictures of the two, they looks identical.

either one will work. the diameter is a industry standard of 7/8" on power augers and 3/4" on hand augers. I have one of both for my gas auger.
