Grandson's first trip
« on: Jan 28, 2008, 07:26 PM »
First fish

First blue gill

At the hole

Great day to be on the ice with him.  He ended up beating me 4 to 1.

Way to go Gramps!  I'm sure he's hooked for life now!  Forget the college tuition, get him a shack, power auger, and plenty of tipups!

It is a 1200 acre lake here on the North West side of Indiana called Willow Slough, average depth is about 4 feet, with deeper channels up to I think 12 feet in spots.  They just drained it, and restocked it 4 years ago, and the fish are doing excellent.
