Ice Walker 2000
« on: Mar 09, 2011, 01:29 PM »
A good buddy of mine tossed out his back slinging a power auger a couple weeks ago and in effort to get him back out on the hardwater before the end of the season I took drastic measures and came up with a solution.

LOL!  It was my dad's 85th B-Day today and I had lunch with him at the nursing home.  If I had one of those today, got him into some warm clothes and put on his old mickey mouse boots...he would be back in business!   ;D

I was given my power auger by a family friend, who swore off the hardwater after several back surgeries. Just can`t take the risk of falling and ended up paralyzed. If he saw that rig, he might just take the auger back! Try sharpening the skis , will help stop side to side slide. Maybe even add a stopper/brake to "park" and jig? Good job!

That's awesome!! I want one for myself!!! For those days when you've had too many "antifreezes" and don't want to stumble on the way to the traps! LOL.
