Would love nothing more than to head out to the Vikings club on my day off Monday! Please keep us up to date on conditions. Anything over 4 inches black ice and my ass will be there. It's been two years since I've got out because of the warm winter last year

After Tuesday the cold temps will really tighten the lake up and probably add 2 or 3"to what is already there,IF the forecast is correct! Time to make a mad dash to the bait shop!

Called in sick to go check out ice conditions yesterday, lots of open water close to mayville. Was on anywhere from 3-4 inches of black ice with about 6 inches of snow on top closer to lower basin. Was all alone out there and landed this 49 inch Muskie while fishing for crappie, so I had to take a musky selfie

Nice fish man! It never hurts to call in to fish! I called in one day in august to troll for walleye out of sturgeon by myself and limited out in 59 minutes

Walked out this afternoon. Didn't bring my gear or crockpot. Grabbed a 30 stack of coors light and went home to make room in my freezer for a limit of ducks in the am.
